Welcome to the most wonderful ski heaven.
A summer holiday in Soelden in Tyrol’s Oetztal. Soelden is the best that winter has to offer. Famous world cup location (FIS world cup opening starts every year already at the end of October!) and one of the most well-known ski and snowboard centres in the Alps. The wide range of slopes at all difficulty levels and the excellent preparation of the 148 km of slopes will turn your skiing holiday into pure enjoyment. 33 mainly state-of-the-art ski lifts with a capacity to transport 70,000 persons/hour quickly and comfortably without long waiting times. And when you stay at apartment-B&B Viktoria Soelden then you basically have a box seat. A bit removed from the hustle and bustle; a great view of the village, Gaislachkogl and Innerwald valley station is only 400 meter from the hotel, the road up to the glacier skiing resort at Rettenbachferner and Tiefenbachferner is only 50 metres away and the free ski bus literally stops outside the front door.
Soelden is synonymous with the best that winter sport has to offer. BASE winter park Giggijoch, race course or moguls runs – the options to enjoy skiing are limitless. The winter skiing resort is connected to both glacier skiing resorts via the Golden Gate connecting lifts which means that you can go directly with your skis from the village right up to the glaciers at 3,340 m. The longest run (around 15 km) is from the Schwarze Schneide at Rettenbach glacier to the valley overcoming a difference in altitude of 1,900 m. The skiing route through the Rettenbachtal (6km) is an insider tip.
