If you decide to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle here in Sölden in the Tyrolean Ötztal, then first things first: all transport options are open to you! Just like the doors to our hotel!
Thanks to the magnificent location of Hotel Garni Viktoria Sölden, you can also take a break from your car. Because we’re far away from the main roads, but close to the ski and hiking area.
Take a free bus to the ski lift every 10 minutes or walk to the centre of the village. You’ll find all holiday attractions in the immediate vicinity!

Arrival at Hotel Garni Viktoria Sölden
By car
- From Germany, the Benelux countries and Austria via the Inntal Autobahn, Ötztal exit
- From western Austria and eastern Switzerland, head through the Arlberg Tunnel, to Ötztal railway station and into the Ötztal, past Oetz, Umhausen and Längenfeld until you reach Sölden
- From Italy, head over the Reschen Pass or Brenner Pass, to Ötztal railway station and continue on to Sölden;
and in summer via the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road
By train
Enjoy a comfortable train ride until you reach the intercity express station Ötztal Bahnhof. From there, you can head to Sölden via Postbus or by booking a taxi to collect you. Journey time approx. 30 minutes.
The bus stop "Sölden Pitze" is around 100m from Hotel Garni Viktoria Sölden.
By plane
The nearest airport is Innsbruck (approx. 80 km). From there, you can take a bus, taxi or the very convenient Ötztal shuttle service offered by Four Seasons Travel. They can also collect you from Munich Airport and take you to Viktoria.
