The superlative scenery of the Ötztal will leave any tourist with a sense of wonder at every turn:
226 three-thousanders in the Ötztal Alps, with 32 huts and snack bars and 12 mountain refuges. 600 peaks of the Ötztal Alps surround the Tyrolean summit with a panorama of icy glaciers, dark green mountain lakes and grand alpine huts.

Climbing in Ötztal

Conquer the granite climbing paradise of Ötztal, with its 19 family-friendly climbing parks, 8 via ferattas and around 750 staggering routes. Find your own personal favourite route out in the wild or in the climbing area at Area 47.  There’s also the new outdoor climbing tower near Imst which offers an extra adrenaline shot for all climbing fans.

 

Our Löple Alm

The Löple Alm is one of the oldest mountain lodges in the Ötztal Alps and is located around 20 minutes west of the halfway station at Gaislachkogl on the famous E5 European footpath. We’re always delighted to welcome hikers during the summer months and to offer them tips and advice for new destinations. Enjoy an unforgettable Alpine panorama and the fresh mountain air from our sun terrace!
